Accordingly, you are advised to review the Privacy Policy and Conditions of Use prior to using any of our websites. YOUR CONTINUED USE OF THIS SITE FOLLOWING THE POSTING OF ANY CHANGES OR REVISIONS WILL CONSTITUTE YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF SUCH CHANGES OR REVISIONS. The Rimoptics Group reserves the right to refuse or return any packages received that do not have a return authorization number clearly marked on the outside of the box and that does not comply to our standard returns policy.

Warranty and Exchange Policy:

To ensure that all warranties, exchanges and /or credits are correctly and promptly processed, please include a copy of the original invoice. If the invoice copy is not available, the following pieces of information must be included for credit to be issued: Original number, date of purchase, and price paid.

Warranties:

Length of warranty:
Warranties on all our products extend one year from invoice date; certain exceptions do apply, under which length of warranty may extend two years from invoice date. Certain buying group memberships may increase your warranty period. If you are unsure of the applicable warranty period for a given product of ours which you stock, please contact us to clarify.

Terms of warranty:
Warranties apply to manufacturer’s defects only. Frames sold as discontinued items (and/or ‘sell-outs’/’close-outs’), are not covered under warranty.

Exchanges / Credits:
All frames are non-refundable; exchangeable only. Frames ordered on approval have a 30-day grace period to be returned for credit. Frames must be returned within one year from date of purchase to be eligible for exchange privilege. All exchanges (excluding warranties and frames on approval) must include a credit authorization sheet signed by one of our sales representatives. In addition, all frames being returned for exchange (or refund if sent on approval within the last 30 days), must be:

In resalable condition
Clean of all markings, labels, and glue
Temples and frames have original shape and adjustment
Demo lenses intact and in place
Individually enclosed in plastic bags
Include respective cases, where applicable

If these conditions are not met, a handling fee may be applied. Frames sold as discontinued items are not eligible for exchange or credit. You (the customer) are fully responsible for products, and any fees incurred when returning them to The Rimoptics Group. Returns are subject to approval by the head office. Any returns that do not meet these conditions may be subject to a restocking fee. Any invoice under $35 may be subject to a handling fee. For prompt and accurate processing, please include a copy of the original invoice for all frames being returned. Special Circumstances:
From time to time we may, at our discretion, permit an exchange or refund for a frame or frame part which does not meet our usual requirements as detailed above. Any good faith action we take under special circumstances does not constitute any basis for future claims outside the limitations of our returns policy.

Shipping:

Our responsibility ends when the shipping company picks up the merchandise at our warehouse. The recipient is responsible for inspecting any merchandise as soon as it is received. You have 24 hours from the time of reception to report a short shipment.

Shipping charges that we have applied to your invoice will only be refunded if the invoice relates in its entirety to the delivery of a replacement frame for one which we have deemed to be covered under warranty due to a manufacturing fault.
