Founded in Melbourne in 1981, The Rimoptics Group started out as licensed agents and distributors for many well-known, European fashion and eyewear brands and has grown to be one of Australia’s largest independent optical wholesalers.  Our business model has since evolved to adapt to the changes in and needs of our local industry.  For the last 20 years we have proudly distributed many of our own brands to our loyal customers, whilst continuing to distribute a refined selection of boutique international eyewear brands.

We are proudly Australian family owned and operated, supporting independent optometry nation-wide.
